Martian Manhunter was a four-issue limited series published from May-August of 1988. Written by J.M. DeMatteis with illustrations by Mark Badger, the series re-evaluated the origin of the Martian Manhunter and introduced the character of H'ronmeer, the Martian death god. The series also featured guest appearances by members of Justice League International.
