I do agree with you about the one on the site here it could use some improvement because its a real dark icon image but honestly its so much better then the M one that was used before it perfectly fine for now. I say keep it looks great and its one of the well known symbols of The Martian Manhunter. Our you doing any updates for the other sites with icon images.
